A couple of tips from reader Seline, who frequently travels between L.A. and NYC on United with pup Como, an Alaskan Klee Kai: (1) Traveling between LAX and JFK, pets can only be carried in coach on Uniteds Premium Service (PS) flights — NOT IN BUSINESS/FIRST; and (2) Traveling between LAX and Newark in Business/First, be aware that many of the planes are 737-900s where the aisle seats are obstructed. The window seats have adequate space while the aisle seats do not, so standard carriers will NOT fit under the aisle seats. The Premium Service flights from JFK SFO have the same issue, so best to travel in/out of Newark if Business/First is preferred. Thank you for the heads-up, Seline!!
