A couple of years back, in the wake of the Colbert SuperPAC, I created a SuperPAC: Science! (The punctuation is legally part of the name.) I didnt have any particular ideas for what to *do* with it, but since it didnt have any money, that didnt really matter. But this year, Ive drafted and sent out a questionnaire to candidates, asking about their positions on certain scientific issues. Ive only targeted Georgia candidates in contested primary races so far, and Ive only gotten about a dozen responses, but its a start. Ill be expanding my efforts in months to come, including contacting everyone on the House and Senate Science Committees. So with Georgias primary elections two weeks from today, and early voting already underway, now seems like as good a time as any to start sharing the results. sciencesuperpac.org/
