A customers honest assessment of the Folding Firebox Stove: The FIREBOX stove arrived Thursday 18 September, mid-afternoon. Its very good and well-made. I also have a lighter folding wood stove, which is ~OK for light use. However, your stove is much easier to set up, has a larger combustion chamber and a wider range of applications. The extra weight of your stove is both an advantage and a disadvantage; then again the lighter stoves advantage of less weight is a trade-off for less convenient set-up, smaller combustion chamber, venting issues with the grate (wire mesh, holes blocked by ash), warping, and a number of other issues. In most instances, the FIREBOX stove is my No.1 choice, go-to outdoor-stove except where weight reduction is paramount (trade-off being robustness, ease of use, heating capacity). Well done with the design of this product and making available to the public. Your YouTube videos are excellent, good info, good walk-through conversation about what went into bringing the product to fruition. Imagine there were quite a few problems to solve in the process. Am very pleased with the purchase. Apologies with delay in letting you know the stove had arrived; my plans for immaculate time management have gone out the window in the last three weeks.
