A day in a movers life. First thing this morning. Wake up to calls about how picking up the voting machines is going in Baltimore. Head to work fielding calls on the drive in. Pick up 2 jobs heading in. Get to warehouse about 9:15 to start book work. Crew comes in that needs to move 175 gal fish tank. Get them together and head to job site. Call customer to let then no we are on the way. They say why so soon. You let them no now or never. They say come. Fish tank is in basement not totally ready for moving. Tank goes out with out problem. Base is another story. Gets stuck in stair way. Customer now says it took the 7 hours and lots of beer to get tank in basement. Mr wolfe not happy. Likes info up front. Not after happy. Likes info up front. Mr wolfe tells customer bill is growing. Customer says okay. Put hole in \wall to get it out. Mr wolfe puts hole in wall. Base comes out. Wall build after base put in basement. Mr wolfe not happy but gets it out. Crew heads to Potomac to deliver. Mr wolfe heads back to warehouse to load items to deliver to Baltimore for wifes business. Get loaded about 11:45 head to Notthingham to deliver. All goes well. Customer pays and off i head back to warehouse. Talking with Baltimore crews. They dont understand that numbers count for the work being done. So i help them understand. Still dont get it. Head for warehouse to get crew and move early slot machine and juke box. Get back at 3:15 to get stuff ready to move. Call customer and they say they are good to meet us at house to load. Get to house to load and customer forgot to tell us there are 8 steps to move the 500 lb juke box. Have to remove rails on stairs to get juke box up. Tell customer the bill will be more. Customer grunts. We move forward. Get to customer house and they have 10 steps to front door. Mr wolfe says no. Not going to do that. Will come thru yard to get items in. Check door. To small. Customer must remove door. Customer removes door. We move items in. All moved with out damages. Mr wolfe back to warehouse at 5:30. Starts getting crews ready for the am. 3 crews out at 5:30. @ crews out at 8 am. Wife not happy because taking to long and bless her heart she is not feeling well. Mr wolfe trying to get done fast. Get it done. Start to head home. Get home and start to look at e amils for the day. Answer as many as i can. pAY BILLS. Now its 8:30. What to do next. Well sleep is in order. I think. I love what i do but some days are a little longer then i would like them to be.. If you read all of this thank you.
