A day late, but November is upon us. We were sent to the same Infantry unit north of Fallujah to assist in finding and destroying caches in the area. You will see several explosions in this video which are the controlled detonations of the caches we found. The video starts off with a close encounter in the MRAP. Myself and the radio guy, Big Hern the Worm, may have drowned if it tipped in because the doors are very heavy. After all, AAA is several hundred miles away. I also put in several convo videos which is us driving around. It is interesting to see people on the side of the road asking for water or candy, and trucks/cars pulled over. If they came close, wed shoot flares to warn them of impending doom. Of course, being November, we were also sent sliced turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving. The picture of the platoon sitting and eating is a rare few hours rest to celebrate. The last picture in the video is a nice platoon picture. Also, watch a few seconds after to see Ted the Interpreter singing one of his favorite songs. In all the videos, I start to include a beginning and ending clip now to frame it.
