A day late in posting this but yesterday, July 29, 2014 marked the 26th anniversary of the arrival of Goodman Lumber Company #9 at Mid-Continent Railway Museum. The locomotive is a 36-ton Class B Lima-Shay locomotive built in 1909 and used on the logging rail lines near Goodman in northeastern Wisconsin. It is the sole remaining Lima-Shay locomotive to have operated in the state. The locomotive was moved from the display yard to underneath a shelter by the depot in April 2012 and a new display sign was erected in May of this year.
