A delegation of Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) left for Chicago, US to participate in Chicago Travel and Adventure Show 2015. TAAN Executive Member Sonam Gyaljen Sherpa is leading the delegation. Tara Nath Lamichhane of Osho Vision Treks and Expedition, Dorjee Lama of Peak Himalaya Adventure, Furi Geljen Sherpa of Himalayan Treasure Trekking and Rishi Ram Bhandari of Snowy Horizon Trekking are the other members of the delegation. The event will be held at Donald E Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont on January 17 and 18. For over 11 years and 54 shows, the Travel & Adventure Shows have become the largest and fastest growing travel shows in the United States. Since 2004, the Travel & Adventure Shows have helped hundreds of thousands travel enthusiasts find, plan and book their dream vacation. Our main focus is connecting travelers with travel providers. Every year, it is organized in six different venues: Chicago, Los Angeles, SF/Bay Area, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Dallas. Our focus will be on promoting trekking trails and other adventure tourism attractions in the country, Sonam Gyaljen Sherpa, leader of the delegation, said.
