A demonstration is being organized in support of the City of Campbellton LOCKOUT workers on Friday night in front of the civic centre. “We want to send a clear message to Mayor Bruce MacIntosh that a lockout is unacceptable! The Mayor and the members of Council “chose” to put on the street more than 30 workers instead of sitting at the table and negotiate a fair collective agreement”, said George Parker, President of CUPE Local 76.
