It has importance for every branch of Engineering , be it Electrical ,Electronics ,Mechanical ,Civil, Chemical , Computer Science etc. As it is widely used to simplify mathematical equation connecting many parameter of system. But generally student find problem in this. It is matter of concern that almost all students do not even basic of Laplace and why & how it is important. That is true for me also when I was in my college. In my third year , I took a pledge that one day I will find the answer and present it to world that it is not difficult or waste. But in a reality, bad or good is mostly depend upon the angle at which we are looking into it. The problem with education system is we are supposed to run after Exams like a machine, but in reality if you just look into the study at different angle, you will find that Exam is just a small part of this education what we call Vidya .
