A early 3x3 trad headstock Warlock. Serial appears to be 86***, but in the re-finishing its filled in with paint and all but gone. It could be a 85***! Anyway, this one is a project..or is it? This was once a trans red over Maple, but..it was tinkered with by a previous owner. Why? Arrgghhhhh. It came with (non-original? Schaller fine tunning bridge), black Kent Armstrong ribbed (for your pleasure…) covered p/ups..horrible looking things!! The wrong knobs and I have no idea why, but the electrics cavity appears to have been made bigger. What the hell was he going to put in there? A bed!! Its was also given a blow over with thin red paint. Nooooo. So thats why I say its a project..I could restore it or just enjoy it with what I have done. For now I have a old Quad on it, some temp p/ups (yes one is F spaced) and Top-Hats. Its a temp job..not sure what to do TBH. Killer guitar though..got all that early 80s era vibe.
