Detailed Description - First Batch Phra KHUN-PAEN amulets made by Luang Phor Huan Yati Tammo (who passed away 2 years ago at the age of 88 yrs old) of Wat Neekom Wacheeraram in Tambon Khaoyai, Cha-Am District, Petchaburi Province. LP Huan created this very first batch of KHUN-PAEN amulets around the end of Buddhist Year 2499.After that LP Huan brought these Phra Khun Paen amulets to be blessed at the Grand Maha- Puttaphisek Empowerment Blessing Ceremony held at Buddha Monthon. (This amulet was one of a range of different amulets placed under one empowerment ceremony with hundreds of Master Guru Monks from all over Thailand and nearby present for the Puttaphisek empowerment. The ceremony was to celebrate 2500 years of Buddhism, and is the third largest, most sacred and important empowerment ceremony ever held for Thai Amulets, after the 1st being Wat Mahabopit, second being the famous Indojin edition (Pra Putta Chinarat being the most famous of that edition), and 3rd being this 25 satawat Ceremony, which was of course held in 2500 BE.) After that , LP Huan brought these Phra Khun Paen amulets back & single-handedly blessed them for a span of several years before he buried them in the underground chamber below the principle Buddha statue of the temples Ubosot (main shrine). These Phra Khun Paen amulets were later blessed again during one of the temples major Puttaphisek empowerment blessing ceremony.Present at the ceremony were some of very famous high priest of all times.... 1.) Somdej Phra Sangharaj Sakon Maha Sangha Parinayok - The Supreme Patriarch, the Head of all Members of the Sangha). His Holiness conducted the candle-lighting ceremony of this Puttaphisek empowerment blessing ceremony. 2.) LuangPhu Toh of Wat Pradu-Chim-Plee. 3.) LuangPhor Daeng of Wat Khao-Bandai-It. 4.) LuangPhor Plern of Wat Nong Mai Luerng. 5.) LuangPhor Chan of Wat Marler Kathayawan. 6.) LuangPhor Pelt of Wat Tanod Luang. 7.) LuangPhor Juan of Wat Phra Phutta Maha Khao Look Chang. 8.) LuangPhor Oon of Wat TanKong and some other very famous monks at that time. Afterwhich, LuangPhor ordered that these Phra Khun Paen amulets to be wrapped up with his robes and buried under the main shrine (Ubosot) of the temple again. Heavy rains following floods around the temple area in the year 2545 in Cha-Am, Petchaburi Province, LP Huan worried that these Phra Khun Paen amulets will be damaged then ordered the amulets to be excavated out and placed in the chanting hall for worshipping and prayers. As years goes by , the amulets created by LP Huan of Wat Neekom Wacheeraram gained its popularity and became much sought after amongst the local community. In the year 2552, LP Huan decided to release these KHUN-PAEN amulets in order to garner donations for rebuilding funds for the main shrine (Ubosot). ** A total of 900 pcs of these 1st batch of Phra Khun Paen amulets were created by LP Huan, 100 over pieces were found to be damaged after being excavated out during the flood in year BE2545 , only about 760pcs were found to be in good condition.
