A female friend of mine send this post into my inbox but let me share it with this group: A very serious issue in relationships and marriage. You want to know my conclusion? Money is a very important factor in marriage. My brothers living outside the country and married to citizens of those countries keep bragging about their women not going for money. Now let me tell you why: They live in societies that are organized. How many of them think about school fees the way we do? Have you heard of a low income earner buying houses on mortgage in Nigeria? Even when you take 2m Naira loan from a bank, think of the repayment terms and compare it with what is obtainable in those countries. Do you know how much people spend on health here in. Nigeria? How much do you spend on health over there? Some of you over there are under social welfare and your children have their benefits coming in weekly or monthly. What about those on food stamp? You have the hope of eating and feeding your new baby well because of this. Here in Nigeria, we are left to struggle, hustle, and survive with no help from our governments. Even when they talk about housing scheme, they build and sell to their people. Tejuosho market got burnt and was rebuilt. The shops now go for as high as 7m Naira; how many of those traders can afford that? Its still our commissioners and their families buying them. Finally, ours is a communal living. We are brought up to know that we must take good care of our parents. How well do your Oyibo women take care of their parents? They dont have to bother because the government does it for them. Here, not even a youth corper gets free transport tickets. Our old men and women struggle to get into molue just like every one of us. Abeg, make una no just dey make this comparison. When you hear a girl talk about not wanting a jobless man, please dont blame her because she has to tell herself the truth. Mind you; I am, in no way, supporting greed, but my dear friends, we must tell ourselves the truth. We all must not be married to rich men, but please dont marry a jobless man; let him have something doing no matter how small. This is Nigeria and Money is a very important factor in marriages. what are ur views?
