A few New Years predictions: 1) Monaco Rare coins will continue to have just found a hoard of mint condition Morgan silver dollars which you can purchase at below production cost. Of course, they arent producing any more.... 2) Fred Thompson will be shilling reverse mortgages instead of running for president. 3) The DOW Jones Industrial Average will go up and down repeatedly like newlyweds on their honeymoon. Financial experts will make diametrically opposite predictions with conviction and be right half of the time. 4) Putin will find some way to screw the United States and Europe and make it look like our fault and brand it malicious hooliganism. 5) Kim Jung Un will put on a few pounds over the holidays, which for him, lasts year round. He will then blame the United States and threaten us with annihilation, assuming he can get up off the couch and push the button. 6) The United Nations will require billions of dollars from the US and other developed countries to combat climate change while doing very little about it other than generating a forest-worth of paper reports which have to be dumped into the ocean off New Jersey, or burned in an incinerator someplace. 7) Israel and the Palestinians will continue to hate each other creating billions of dollars in economic and physical damage- which will be paid for with billions of US dollars. The Israelis will remind us of the holocaust and the Nazis at least nightly on the history channel. 8) ISIS, ISIL, and IS will continue to evolve its name until it hits upon ISU and is eligible for academic grant money for starving college professors. 9) The Immigration Problem will be fixed, when all of us flee across the border to Canada to escape it. 10) Taxes will go up, Services will go down, and all the children will be saved from themselves.
