As I walk through a crowded court room.., Excuse me can I ask you a question? Yes sir! Ive been here since 9:30 & I havent seen my attorney... Did you hear me? Yes. Well? Well what? What am I supposed to do? About what? I dont know where my attorney is? Have you called him or been in contact with him regarding your case since your last date? No? Do you know who your attorney is? Nah, some guy. So your question is since you havent seen your attorney what should you do, although you have no idea who it is? I know what he looks like but I havent seen him Ok well youre going to have to wait for him to get here. You cant tell me who he is Sure, but you didnt ask me that. I said I didnt know who he is I thought you were comfortable with that fact since youve had several visits for this case. Why would I now think you want to know who your attorney is? Whats your name sir so I can give you your attorneys name & telephone number For what?? I thought U wanted to know who he was? I wanted you to tell me where he was? Sir I have no idea, and quite honestly dont care hes an attorney, he represents about 20 clients a day and he certainly doesnt pay me to be his secretary. I dont have a criminal court case so theres definitely no need for me to know who he is or where he is. IF I had a criminal matter I would make it my business which is why I was offering you the number & name but forget it-you seem comfortable in your state of oblivion and I have things to do-Good day.. (((muttering to self that I have 12 more years of this crap and 18 if I want a really great pension package SMH dang NYS)))
