A few days ago I posted an article published in the Kansas City Star. Concerning the closing of a Kansas City icon. The Golden Ox, and ask you all to consider using local places as opposed to fast food or faceless corporate chains. Now Im giving you some more food for thought. These two photos represent 8.00 worth of product at McDonalds and 8.00 dollars worth of food at Marfields Pub. I do believe you can see the difference. Total time waiting in the drive thru, 22 minutes. Total time from placing of order to service at our table 7 minutes. And I even threw in a smile and a kind word from Sarah Mundy. At no extra charge. One last question... Who really has a value meal. Please support small business. We depend on you. And we really appreciate your patronage !!
