A few days ago, I was getting ready to go to the zoo with the boys. I was upstairs - the boys, down. I hear G screaming. Its the scream of an injustice that had just taken place. I come downstairs and see Q crouched behind the couch, peeking at me coming down. He knows hes done something wrong. I go to comfort G and say, Quinn, what happened? He screams, NO! Come tell me what happened or get in trouble, I say whilst holding G who is still crying. Q saunters over, head down, like a deeply defeated Eeyore. Quinn, what happened? With a shoulder shrug he says, I pushed him down. Sternly said, Quinn, thats not okay. I keep hugging a crying G, and Q quietly looks away and whispers, He was driving me nuts. What? I ask. Glaze-eyed & still whispering, He was driving me nuts.----- He learned that phrase from me. I dont know whether to laugh or be mortified.
