A few funny tidbits from the Ludy home lately: One of four-year-old Avy’s favorite expressions is, “What in the EARTH is going on here?” (Funny how it sounds totally normal when someone says, “What in the world?” but saying ‘What in the EARTH?” gives that phrase a whole new punch!) Five-year-old Kip frequently asks if we can go get ice cream from the “Mop Shot” (translation: Malt Shop)! Nine-year-old Hudson wanted to know why his favorite stuffed dog Rusty doesn’t have a “wet nose” like other dogs. He also told me he thought that board games were acutally bored games - meaning that you play them whenever you are feeling bored! Seven-year-old Harper recently learned that signing notes with “XOXO” means “hugs and kisses.” So now when I’m tucking her in at night, she often tells me, “Mommy, I need an X and after that I need an O!”
