A few months ago, I had the honor of spending a day playing and on the piano that belonged to my very first hero on the instrument, Oscar Peterson. Along with some original music of Oscar’s, I recorded this tune of mine; an older song I wrote about the feeling of home sickness. Oscar’s music has always felt like home to me, so it felt right to play this one. Hope you enjoy, Sunny Day Go. I’m so happy that Kelly and Celine Peterson are continuing to spread Oscar’s magic, and I’m excited to hear more pianists pay their respects to the maestro.
