A few months ago I realised that for the first time since 2008 I no longer stress about money and where my income is going to come from and wondering how long I can keep hustling for. It is not like I am off buying gold chains and lamborghinis (Jens private joke for when we know we will have made it) but it feels like such a novelty to know that my income is steady enough now that I will be able to pay rent and buy groceries plus also have the time and space to take a breather when I need to without feeling a sense of guilt that I should be doing MORE to make sure I can stay afloat. I often think back to everything that was sacrificed and how much I felt I couldnt stop working and while it makes me sad I know I wouldnt have been happy until this stage was achieved. That is all.
