The Village of Skokie’s new Community Outreach Police Sub-Station vehicle will begin service on August 22 at the Skokie Backlot Bash. The 36-foot outreach vehicle will be used throughout the community to enhance public safety programs and operations. While the vehicle will be used primarily for community policing initiatives, it can be used as a mobile sub-station in the event of an emergency or disaster.
