A few notes from the August Board of Directors meeting: - Please remember that any visible changes to your property require approval from the Architectural Review Committee. Please see our website for the forms and instructions. If you do not have a copy of the neighborhood covenants, those can be found there too. Changes without ARC approval may have to be redone, which can result in considerable expense. - The golf course manager asked us to remind all residents to stay off the course, especially the greens and sand bunkers. Please pass this along to our young residents. - Some residents have noticed an epidemic of poison oak growing in yards around the neighborhood. This plant causes skin irritation and can be quite uncomfortable. Lots of internet sites have suggestions for how to identify and get rid of it. One such site is: wikihow/Identify-Poison-Oak. - Continuing the landscaping theme, running bamboo has also been observed in the neighborhood. This is very difficult to control if it gets a foothold, so please consider removing it if any is found on your property. If you see any in the common areas please let Dan know. If you see any on golf course, please let them know. - Grass clippings should be placed on the curb no more than 24 hours before pickup (Mondays for most of our neighborhood). Please ask your land scapers to comply with this town ordinance. Placing them out earlier contributes to water pollution and hurts the look of the neighborhood. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
