A few photos of mine from inside the old Glenside Z Ward, Adelaides home for Criminal Mental Defectives. It was recently opened to the public after it was sold by the State Government to Beach Energy in August 2014, giving me a unique opportunity to grab a few photos - I tried to get more unusual images, ones like you wouldnt have seen before. Built in 1885, and opened in 1887, Z Ward was called L Ward until 1932, but when the phonetic link to Hell Ward was discovered the name was changed to Z Ward. Enjoy :)
