A few pics from last weekends Comics Lab, which we ran with Scottish Book Trust and Literary Dundee. It was a pretty intense weekend with wall to wall talks and workshops. It was a privilege to have such great guests speakers. Pictured here are Bryan and Mary Talbot, Kate Charlesworth , Caitrin Armstrong, John McShane , ourselves and Michel Faber (who was talking at Literary Dundee, and who on hearing we were doing the lab, decided to join in). Also talking on the days were: David Bishop, William Goldsmith, Isabel Greenberg, and Jonathan Cape editor Alex Bowler. They were very generous with their insights into the medium and their experience, so a big thank you to them all. We also gave three talks exploring the medium of graphic novels and our own creative approach. The Comics Lab is running for a third day next weekend, with Chris Murray and Phillip Vaughan. Huge thanks to SBT and Literary Dundee!
