A few weeks ago, I was excited because my knee doctor assured me that he would find a solution to problems resulting from my replaced knee...well, thats not happening. He told me to call him a few days after meeting with him. I did. He never called me back. I called again. Nothing! So folks, I, with the help of my primary care physician, am working on getting a better quality of life and less pain. I joined Weight Watchers last Saturday with the goal of losing 50 pounds. (That should help take stress off my knee--both knees!) Weighed in today. Lost 9 pounds in a week! Wow for me!!! Also, I reactivated my physical therapy exercises and am trying other options. Luckily, I am an optimistic person and continue--even if Im in pain--to do all the things I need and want to do. I may have to use a cane or a rolling walker, but thats not too bad. (People have been extremely kind to this temporarily impaired, white-haired lady!) Please keep me in your prayers, but do not worry! Im not down...except for my weight!
