A few weeks ago our head baker was interviewed as part of a Youth Profiles series that was undertaken by the Department of Youth. Here is her story. A little background: ... The Youth Profile series is a documentary-type series produced by the Department of Youth Empowerment that bring attention to the stories and positive energies of progressive young people who emerge from challenging circumstances in served communities. This series seeks to create a platform where our youth can be recognised by their communities, supported for their efforts and emulated by their peers. The series also seeks to bring greater balance to the national discourse on our youth and youth development.
