A few years ago I owned a small zoo and sanctuary with our best friends. We sold it as a going concern in 2008. The Ark has now closed and the owners have rehomed all the animals. The Ark was set on a popular country park and part of a retail complex, the landlords decided that a bigger garden centre was needed and an animal sanctuary was not needed (despite having over 30,000 visitors per year and being the only zoo in Wychavon). Another casualty of economic progress. So this video remains the testament to a wonderful place. Many good and happy memories for me and lots of people.
