A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to watch an interview with Dr. Stephen Shore a professor at Adelphi University. He is autistic. He explained how as a child the most influential and profound thing done for him was his parents accepting his uniqueness. If he took apart their toaster, they went and brought 4 more for him to take apart. Profound and this stuck with me and still does. I guess for most kids when they have a day with their mom they ask to do typical stuff. Zoe asked me if we could walk around our neighborhood and explore. We were on a Dead End search. Then based on measurements and calculations we rated the streets and declared a winner. I like that Zoe asks me to do these things with the knowledge that I will! Happy Friday!!!!!
