A fire was quickly contained Sunday at Mica Creek around 6:00 Sunday evening. A 3-person initial attack crew and a unit crew responded along with a helicopter for bucketing water onto the fire. Airtankers also dropped retardant to slow the fires spread. The fire grew to approximately 3 hectares in size before it was contained, crews were on scene battling the blaze until midnight. 13 firefighters are out there today to mop up the fire. The fire cause is under investigation, but it is suspected to be human-caused
