A former Commissioner for sports in Oyo state, Mr Dapo Lam Adesina (DLA) has claimed that the Board running 3SC was responsible for the relegation of the club. Featuring on the Oluyole FM Yoruba sports programme Agbo Ere Idaraya today, DLA accused the teams Board of incompetence and financial recklessness. He claimed the Board orchestrated the free-fall of 3SC when he was on leave and after he had left office. According to the ex-commissioner, 3SC was occupying 11th position on the league table when he was going on leave, and by the time he returned the club had fallen to 19th position.
