A friend from one of the wineries is coming out for dinner next week. I asked her if she would like a room. No, she said I live in Walla Walla. I laughed. Do you know that most of our overnight guests live in Walla Walla, College Place, Hermiston, or Tri-Cities, all about equidistant from our location, I queried her. The only thing local guests complain about when they leave is that they should have stayed for two nights! Living close is no reason you should miss out. You can be close but still feel miles away when you check-in. You have the advantage of going to a premier Bed and Breakfast in the world and almost be walking distance to arrive. Dont let the proximity lull you into missing out on a experience in dining and lodging that is very unique in the country and maybe even the world. We have one set of local guests who have stayed with us 15 nights in 2 years and had dinner each of those nights. Others have similar instances of repeat visits. They actually are coming back frequently not only because they love the stay, but because we are close! Lets hear it from the locals who have stayed at the Mansion.
