A friend just posted this article. I had a pretty lengthy response as I feel very passionately about this. I would love your own input and experiences to learn from! This was my response... I say this in love from a mother to a mother. I hope you will read the following with an open mind, because I only mean this to beneficial. I have the privilege of having a doctor for a husband who feels strongly about vaccinations. We did a ton of research before our babies were born and chose to give them absolutely nothing. After doing more reading on my own, and talking to many different health professionals, I now feel very strongly about them as well. Most importantly, as I a believer, I feel that God has given us everything we need for healthy living through proper nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. I would recommend reading more. This article seems like it was written to make you feel better about vaccinating your child rather than providing updated research. Both Dr. Sherry Tenpenny (hundreds of articles) & Neil Miller (Vaccine Safety Manual) have really insightful information. A few things that I have learned… 1. It does not make sense for infants to get vaccines within the first year because their immune systems are still developing. They will not fully be able to produce the antibodies for what they are being given, which is the whole point of vaccines. 2. Vaccines carry adjuvants, which cause an immune response by stimulating your immune system, thus allowing it to recognize the virus. The adjuvants cause an immediate inflammatory response. The problem occurs when the brain stays in this inflammatory state and cause neurological disorders. 3. The vast amounts of vaccinations that are given to babies today compared to the small amount that we were given 30 years ago, is a significant difference. The more vaccines that are given at a time, the more adjuvants in the system, and more opportunity for chronic inflammation. If you still decide to vaccinate, I would highly recommend a delayed schedule. It will help lessen the amount or neurotoxins getting to him at once and allow his body time to recover. Most pediatricians are open to a delayed schedule. We went to a Naturopathic Pediatrician who did not vaccinate at all and rarely gives medicine. She uses homeopathic remedies and healing foods to cure. Our little ones are among the happiest and healthiest kids I know, I’m not bias I swear ;)
