A friend of mine has been exercising for a good few months without seeing much results. I asked her what she was doing during her time at the gym. The answer was as follows. 30 mins on the cross trainer followed by some light weights and sit ups. I went on to explain how to completely change the way she was exercising. What she was doing was certainly better than nothing but as she was seeing 0 results, something has to change. My advice to her.... Use big compound movements that work large muscle groups ie squats, dead lifts. Throw away the cross trainer as its doing too much of the work for you! Get on the treadmill and power walk at an incline. Even better, see a personal trainer, get a program, get real results !
