A friend of mine started experiencing paranormal phenomenon a couple of months ago. She was extremely closed minded and the pure thought of it brought her to tears. do you ever get that eery feeling of something watching you and of that feeling being incredibly overpowering you get paranoid? that feeling was constantly attached to her. Often thought of as a liar or an attention seeker, extending the truth, she felt insane and alone. she confided in me as i am incredibly open minded to it and i am close to her. I’m not 100% on what was real or what was her overthinking, i do take her word for it though and this is why.. A teenager that undoubtedly has gone through a lot. she is home schooled because of severe anxiety amongst other personal reasons. she began experiencing unexplained voices, noises and feelings, physical and emotional and seeing shadow like beings in the dark. feeling uncomfortable and alone she decided to confine in myself. I remember one night i spent the night and i could too feel that overwhelming thought of something watching you, i asked her to tell me in detail what she would see and when she would see it and at one point around 3 am she explained she could see a dark shadow figure, a float in the kitchen area at the end of the pitch black hallway. I didn’t know what to make of it as i was freaked out myself but i couldn’t see anything, only feel that presence. She developed insomnia and was un able to sleep during the night, she could always sense things and see shadows in the night and the unexplained noises would start small and increased in intensity and intelligence as time would go on. she developed nasty and horrible thoughts, the feeling of despair and eventually the feeling and thoughts of wanting to end her life. Unexplained depression, fatigue, sudden changes in mood, uncharacteristic changes in her personality or behaviour, nightmares, panic attacks , feeling tired and depleted of energy, suffering mood wings and impulsive behaviour, unexplained bursts of anger, sadness or emotion and unexplained fears. This was due to the things she had been through and was currently going through, the more intense things got the more intense these symptoms got. If you research what type of person spirits attach themselves to, that list would come up. One night we decided to do a simple cleanse, it basically in tailed using a smudge stick (it clears the area of negative energies) and basically asking what it was that was attached to her to leave, and also a witches bottle (you write down the problem and put it in the bottle, and fill it with pins and needles and dirt and salt and seal it with string and bury it of your property to get rid of the energy and problem) although none of this rid anything, it made her feel good, which was the over all goal. We went to the physic expo and she got her fortune read, the lady reading explaining that she too had a gift to sense the other side. she brought the amethyst stone, the stone of the spirit. I want to point out that i do and don’t believe in a lot of this, i am open minded to it and to the scientific side too, i am simply explaining the experience as she has given me permission too. a couple of times she would see someone impossibly hanging from the huge tree outside her house and another time her sister took a bunch of photos of her in a moving car and in only one of the photos a strange face like figure appeared. One night things got intense and she decided to confine in myself and another friend in a group chat, these are some of the things that were said..”her words are just like sobs and she’s talking too fast” “i asked if it was her that grabbed my hand and it was but she wants me to go somewhere with her, she asked me to go somewhere with her” “just come with me i want to show you something, when she said that her voice got louder” “she’s trying to hold my hand but she’s making it go numb “she wants me to help her out from here but i don’t know where here is, i asked and she didn’t say anything” “i feel her going around my whole room now, before she was in one place, but now she’s not” “from what I’m hearing she wants to get out and she needs my help but I’ve asked how i can help but when i do she goes silent, I’m just so confused now, she’s not making any sense” “i felt something on my hand, like she was trying to grab my hand” “i held the pen but she just led my hand to what she wanted to write, thats why I’m so freaked out” “she’s just standing in the corner of the room”. the result was that this spirit was trying to explain something that wasn’t coming across and ended up leading her hand to write something down on paper. we were all trying to figure out what it said, no one could figure it out, there were all different opinions but it was agreed that the end of the word was “side” and none of us could figure out what that meant. The spirit had also made the clear pronunciation of the word “emily” repetitively , which is my friends middle name. A couple of days later in november , a bunch of us went to glenside, ward Z the closed down mental asylum. There she felt really overwhelmed and unusual and the spirit had rid itself after that. The strange thing is two months later, an old newspaper article was found with the headline SUICIDE AT PARKSIDE. the article read “Mrs Augusta Emily Biar, an elderly woman, who was admitted to the mental hospital, parkside, on november 24, was found at the institution on Tuesday morning, at about 5 o’clock, hanging by a sheet from the wire screen over a window. The sheet had been tied into a slip knot. The woman was dead when released from the noose.” Did you notice the similarities in this old newspaper article? it was an elderly lady, with the middle name emily, the same as my friends and the same name my friend could hear being said repetitively. The woman was admitted to Glenside Mental Hospital, in Parkside, coincidentally the same mental hospital we visited and the words both ending in “side” the same as what was written on the piece of paper. The woman was found hanging also, my friend use to see a figure impossibly hanging from the huge tree and the lady was found dead in november, the same month we visited the mental institution, but many years before we did. I don’t know what to make of it, but if that doesn’t blow your mind, i don’t know what would, there is no way my friend could’ve known any of this as this old newspaper article had just been discovered. Last night when we read over the newspaper article and made the connection, lights started flickering in her house, the home phones weren’t working and had no dial tones, yet both were plugged in and on the hook. My friends mum had to use her mobile to call my friends grandmother and the grandmother could hear strange noises from her end only. coincidental or spooky? What do you guys think? as i said i do and don’t believe in this, i am simply explaining her story and sharing it as it is interesting despite anything.
