A friend posted a negative article regarding a law enforcement officer and his boss being ok with what he had done for election year purposes. I have read the comments that turned into a debate on ethics. I am married to an officer. He holds himself to a higher standard, not because of the arm chair quarterbacks but because of his integrity. He also does a job that those who complain the most, would never consider. Every day officers put on a uniform, kiss their family and leave not knowing if they will come home. After over 30 years, mine still wakes up in the night from reliving things he has seen that are too horrible to talk about. They do it for less pay and little to no thanks. You see Youtube videos of traffic stops while wives hold them as they cry over a school bus hit by a train. Before you put all officers in the buddy, good ole boy barrel, remember , they are like preachers, no one wants to be around them until YOU NEED THEM. Am proud to be married to a COP
