A friend posted on Facebook the other day that he gets to go to a job that he loves everyday. Thank you Anthony Georgeson. That got me to thinking about my job. Each day I get a hug, hear laughter somewhere in the building, and am given a great work of art drawn in crayon/sometimes marker. How lucky am I to have such a great place to work. Sure there are days I wonder if it is all worth it and something happens like yesterday. A former student came in to register his daughter in Pre-K. He asked if Miss Horsman was still teaching. The secretary showed him our staff picture on the wall and picked up his daughter to show her his old teacher. Things like that make teaching worth it. So I am wondering in this negative world. What makes your day? Family-work-faith??? Lets post some positives and give a lift to someone today. =)
