A further glimpse into Bruneis not too distant future. Earlier - TopicsExpress

A further glimpse into Bruneis not too distant future. Earlier in the year I posted some photographs of victims of stoning deaths to help drive home the reality of living under laws that prescribe such a punishment. But, before the stoning, Brunei will first implement the amputation of limbs as punishment for those found guilty of theft. ISIS, which also advocates the use of stoning, amputation of limbs and whipping as punishment under its strict interpretation of Sharia law, has recently released images of a man having his hand amputated for theft. While the photos in the article are not particularly graphic, the article and photos still provide an insight into what can be expected when Brunei implements the second phase of the Syariah Penal Code. Of course, the photos in the article do not do justice to the severity and sickening nature of the punishment. As such, I have reluctantly included video footage of actual amputations taking place. While there may be slight variations on how the punishment is carried out in Brunei, the punishment will essentially be just as horrendous and the laws allowing for it could come into effect at anytime. This is the reality of what is coming to Brunei. *** WARNING: THE VIDEO IS VERY GRAPHIC, SHOWING ACTUAL AMPUTATIONS. DURING THE PROCEDURE, THE VICTIMS ARE AWAKE AND FULLY CONSCIOUS. EACH AMPUTATION TAKES NEARLY A MINUTE AND THE FOOTAGE SHOWS BLOOD AND BONE. *** dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2880945/ISIS-release-shocking-photos-man-having-hand-amputated-theft-Assad-spy-crucified-streets-Syria.html liveleak/ll_embed?f=e9e70fd7bfdc
