Igbos are ever ready anytime any day. Yorubas wont put up a fight, theyre indifferent they believe in themselves. Niger-delta has always being fighting for self-autonomy. The only region that is bent on keeping Nigeria as one to cover their inadequacies is the North. They are ready to wage a war to hold other ambitious tribes down together in this geographical cage called Nigeria. They have always been afraid of being on their own. Thats why they stuck to the one Nigeria agenda like a tick. The disproportionate high level of poverty in those northern state will worsen should Nigeria break up. Even a toddler knows this. The only reason why I did not delete your last comment on this thread is because there are no many Arewa youth in this conversation that you would have misinform with these your lies, distortion of information and untrue facts. Before Independence, in 1954 Sir Ahmadu Bello wanted to take the North out of Nigeria, but British colonial thugs stopped him. Also in 1966 shortly after the counter coup, Murtala Muhammad planned to take North out of Nigeria but once again failed. The only time the Igbos announced that they are opting out of Nigeria was in 1967. Sadly till today they do not know that Ojukwu wanted Biafra when it became clear to him that he will not succeed Ironsi and rule the then Unitary Nigeria. In other word, Biafra was all about Ojukwus lust for power, if not, what type of secessionist leader was he, that he tried to capture the capital of a country he is seceding from? He vowed it was death or nothing, in his words whilst I live Biafra lives. Yet when it was time to die he fled to Ivory coast. But gullible Igbos will always argue with all their being to defend such cowardice and self-centeredness From Ojukwu. Coming to reality, Nobody needs one Nigeria as the Igbos need. Your population ranges between 30 to 40 million or more and I wonder how that erosion ravaged 29, 095 km2 piece of land will take you all. No immigrants to other regions in Nigeria have landed properties outside their territory like the Igbos. In North alone there are up to 5 million Igbo immigrants, I dont know how many are there in Yorubaland. As hot as Maiduguri is today, you still find Igbos in thousands in the city. Nobody need Nigeria as the Igbos need. It is a well known fact that with Ijaw the Igbos want Biafra, without Ijaw what they want is One Nigeria.
