A good friend of mine in person and on face book by the name of Sam Stewart has an excellent idea. He posted ; I try to keep light hearted in my post on FB...but before leaving town yesterday I bought an Anniston Star...and there on the front page is a picture of a precious little 5 year old boy named Gregory Caver who was beaten to death by his parents for wetting his pants. When I got up this morning that paper is laying on the bed with that smiling face of the little guy that will forever be 5 years old ...and the combination of sadness and anger come back to me. I left a message for a friend of mine last night that could tell me something about the funeral arrangements for Gregory...what can we as a community do to make sure that he is laid to rest in a more decent and pleasant manner than how he apparently lived and died. When I get some information from my friend, I will share it for for any of you that would like to join Lisa and I in making a contribution. Thank you. Please friends let held the father out.
