A good weekend deserves to be capped perfectly. After concluding a very successful and busy---and enjoyable!!-- Hands-On History event at the 1874 Bradley Home Museum yesterday afternoon, I drove up to Manistee and The Endless Project. In less than 24 hours, important goals were met: The house was de-Christmased (when the house temp is in the 40s, not many needles drop), its basement was cleaned, I spent time with friends and family, a nasty and stubborn plumbing issue at my moms house was resolved, I found a twenty-dollar bill gently tumbling on the snow (gas $$)...and I watched the first two episodes of this seasons Downton Abbey on the laptop----which puts me on schedule for tonights episode #3. Life is good.
