A great 6+ mile hike with friend Valerie today starting in Seaside, Oregon hiking the Tillamook Head Trail to Indian Beach near Cannon Beach, Oregon. I wore low hiking shoes and only once did the mud go over the top of my shoe!! The Sitka trees were so big like Ive not seen before. This trail was used by Lewis and Clark back in the 1800s. Not many people on this trail as it is rated difficult. The lighthouse out in the ocean on the rock is now owned by a funeral home and stores ashes. Such a great day!!! Lots of surfers waiting in the water with their boards for that big wave. The ocean was pretty calm and not very windy today.
