A great Times Magazine piece. People who hated Lindelof for the Lost finale need to cut the guy some slack. Even if the ending failed to meet everyones expectations (honestly, Im still not sure what happened), the show was a hell of a ride. Few know the tremendous pressure of putting yourself out there creatively, and Lost was a real high-wire act. Many wrote nasty letters to Lindelof after the finale, accusing him of wasting six years of their life. Lindelof would have been entitled to write back, I just put six years of blood and sweat and angst and sleepless nights into this, and after all that you send me a shitty email? Im going to watch his new show.
