A great storm changes everything If you feel like God doesnt love you enough and He is sending hardship after hardship your way, He really loves you so much that He wants to change your condition for better. He sees flaws and inappropriate behaviour in your part, thus, He creates reasons for change. He sees a great storm approaching; a sea of great waves that will overturn your small boat into a lost treasure. Instead, He prepares you to become a living treasure that will one day occupy paradise with Him. He wants you to see the author of the storm not the actors. The father doesnt withhold from his children because he is cruel and mean, he withholds because he has greater knowledge. Good wisdom which will make his children into great kings in the near future. Through withholding, the father allows the children to grow and appreciate things. Similarly, God withholds and sends obstacles our way, to grow our faith and belief in Him. To make us appreciative of our blessings. To allow us to practice humility, for one day when we are in a post of great leadership and power, the fate and future of others may be in our hands, and InshAllah, we will be prepared to make good decisions. Decisions that will create future kingdoms of righteous beings, not sinners. We as human beings do not understand or see the bigger picture. We are only equipped to understand the physical manifestations of this world. But there is more, and God wants you to see it. While you may physically not be able to see some things, you can see things with knowledge and wisdom. And rest assured, God is giving you the necessary knowledge through hardships. We should not complain when things get tough, rather, we should thank God, for He is planning things even when the storm is rising and approaching its peak. When the peak of the storm reaches, it unleashes a great force which causes a total transformation. Cities become ruins, homes become shapes, and roads become small pathways. Similarly, the stronger the obstacles our way, the greater our attitude and perspective in life change. The better and greater we become. Great storms have great power, and a great effect on its surroundings. We are its surroundings being transformed of the old shapes into new shapes. Sometimes a great storm is necessary to transform a region. And that is us. Regions of geographical disturbance. We as human beings are so accustomed to living a certain lifestyle that it takes a great storm to change our condition. While we may not like change, God sees necessity, and he sends it forth. Know that great change requires great effort. And with great struggle comes great reward. And that is you my friend. You are being given a great reward through hardship. You are undergoing a total transformation. In the midst of the waves and its fierce winds, dont be consumed be the greatness of the storm for it will come to pass. It’s on the hands of a great king. You as an individual need to figure out how to get your eyes off of the storm to the One who can help you calm it. When you do that, you will immediately realize that the storm is at the hands of your father. The storm was initiated by the father because He knows better. And the father never intends bad for his children. He loves His children. By withholding, he gives them a much better reward. A fulfilling life with morality. Similarly, by withholding, God prepares us for paradise. So no matter how drastic your situation, God is right there with you, and he will sustain you. But, you have to keep looking at Him. He is the One who can calm your storm. He is the One who can give you hope. And, He is the One who can change any circumstance. You have to be patient. Dont accept the storm to magically disappear, rather, expect a bigger boat with greater force to stand its raging waves. When all set and done, you have a bigger boat, a more experienced captain, and the greatest friend who will be with you in eternity. You are the captain and God is your friend.
