It was a great honour to pay respects to Mr. Faron Hall tonight. Hearing the beautiful gospel music really hit me and made me think of those who have gone on to the spirit world. One man spoke of how Faron was like Jesus, came to save lives yet had a rock for a pillow. With all the hate in our world and the current issues surrounding our missing and murdered women, we need to stop and give thanks to people like Faron who gave selflessly even though he had nothing in material ways. His final statement was his own death which ended up in people searching for him and leading to the discovery of Tina Fontaines body, his last act of heroism. As I prepare to bring my son into this world I am reminded that there is goodness in this world and that we need to honour it. I pray for my friends, family and community that we can let go of hate, anger and jealousy and stand united as we fight for justice in this crazy world. ❤️
