A group of Interplan employees participated in a volunteering event this morning and it was a fulfilling and amazing experience. Collectively as a group, we had the opportunity to clear out some weeds and old mulch in a few areas of the play ground that are going to be used for a new gardening area for the children! With some great teamwork, we got it all taken care of and ready for the kids to start some gardening! Another highlight of the morning was getting to interact with the children. As you can see in the pictures, the children were very excited to have us join them in some very important……….Play Time! This nursery is a nonprofit daycare for low income working parents that can bring their children to the daycare where they receive three full meals, classroom teaching as well as special therapy, all for a fraction of what normal daycare costs are. A big thanks to all those that participated today and we look forward to other events in the near future!
