A guitar throwback shoutout to one of the best musicians to ever sprout from the East Bay (Richmond)...and in fact...one of the best musicians to sprout at ALL. As my son got all dressed up to head off to homecoming tonight (looking quite the handsome young Quayle that he is, at that), he is still my little man. Hes a kid, doing what kids do. THIS guy that you will watch in this high school talent show video is also a kid at this time. Same age as my kid and his peers. F-ing unbelievable, is it not? Absolute virtuoso. Some dead classical composer was reincarnated directly into this guys fingers. Unfortunately, he was stricken with ALS, and is confined to a bed/chair, but he continues to compose music with the help of his father. He is absolutely amazing, and an inspiration to anyone that has ever picked up an axe and attempted to shred.
