A hard fought game by the u12s who lost 9-17 to Deeside Dragons u12 in front of a noisy home crowd. The u12s seemed to find their mojo in the second period with goals coming from all the lines and the Deeside keeper forced into making a string of good saves. The Blackburn u12s scored more in this game than in the first 4 games of last season put together. Well done all players, Coach Gary Lathwell and Manager John Furlong. Blackburn MVP went to #4 Adam Jones for his tireless work back checking and filling in as various D-players took a chance to take the puck forward.
