A huge decision has been made by the Oregon Supreme Court. The ruling means that banks can now process foreclosures through regular trustee sale process rather than going through a judicial process. This means that bank owned inventor will start hitting the market later this year vs. next year or beyond. This is good news for the Oregon real estate market as this means there will more homes for buyers to choose from and will most likely stabilize the market in later this year. The current lack of inventory is causing the prices to increase too quickly which could cause more trouble in the form of a correction.
