A huge disappointment this evening!! I was dyng for a really nice steak! Some of the best steaks I have had in this town have been at the Keg & Hedgehog..... Some of the worst have also been there. Tonight being a case in point. On ordering a fillet steak what arrived on my plate have a large piece of grisZel attached to it. On returning the said item to the kitchen I was affronted with the very rude manageress (Lindsay) assuring me the the meat in question was in deed fillet which She herself had cut! (hELLO - just maybe she should have had a crash course in food training - fillet steak has no griszel when served on plate!!!!! GREG get someone who knows how to cook in the kitchen!!!!!!|I am in the food industry Point 1, fillet has no grisel of sineaw, Rule 2, when a customer has cause to send the meal back, listen to the customers concerns and address them. DO NOT COME TO THE TABLE and try and start world war 3!! THIS DOES NOT SOLVE PROBLEMS!!!!! Listen to the concerns and correct them. Hospitality 101 - customer is always right even if they think they may be right. Rule number 2 - THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS right!! NO EXCEPTION!!!!! When I attempt to create peace at the end of the meal I AM MERELY BRUSHED OFF WITH - :WELL i HAVE A WAITRESS IN TEARS!!!! NOTE TO WAITRESSS - get a new career!!!! SHIT HAPPENS DEAL WITH IT, MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT UNREASONABLE THEY JUST EXPECT WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR!!!! ATTITUDE & BAD SERVICE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! WAKE UP KEG & HEDGEHOG!!!!!!! GREG A SERIOUS TRAINING COURSE NEEDS TO BE RUN WITH YOUR STAFF!!!! TONIGHT WAS A 5 STAR NEGATIVE!!!!! REALLY SHOCKING!!!!
