A huge thank you to everyone who came by today to Arkham City Comics to grab a sketch from me and donate to the Child Cancer Foundation. Together, we raised over $800 today and added to my Everday Hero online donations, that means a total of almost $1500. Again, a huge thank you to everyone who came by, everyone who spread the word and just everyone who like to #SupportCourage. I took part in the One Day Challenge for all the kids out there like my nephew, Philip, and like Quinns Quest. Donating my time and skills for the cause is the least I could do for these brave kids. Again, thanks to everyone that came out today to get artwork for your very kind donations. Thank you for your patience and also to all those who put your names down to pick up sketches at a later date. Ill try and get them done before I head to San Diego Comic Con in a few days. Thanks to James Bennett, my good buddy and cool photographer, for taking snaps of todays event. The photos of the event will be up sometime tomorrow on the Arkham City Comics - Auckland FB page, hopefully. Ive also gotta thank the kind folk at Takapuna Art Supplies for sponsoring my art supplies for todays event. Ill be paying a visit to the store real soon as I need to get some more Copic refills.
