A huge thanks to all the dancers who attended Devils Bit Ceili yesterday afternoon. We danced The Kilfenora, Sliabh Fraoch,Moycullen, Templebeb,Cuchulainn, Rinkinstown, Baile Bhuirne Jig & Connemara. The music of Ceili Time was pure magic . I did a quick survey yesterday regarding the selection of sets I usually put on for this ceili I had heard it on the dance vine that a lot of dancers dont attend my ceili because of the sets I choose to be danced. I was delighted to learn the all the dancers present yesterday said the reason the travel long distances to dance at my ceilis is that they are tired of all the regular sets only been danced elsewhere and that they love the variety of sets I call and advised me not to change my thinking. Thank God for that as I believe it is important to bring on the new sets and air some of the older sets that have been almost forgotten. Thanks everyone for your vote of confidence.
